Over a hundred years ago...
The King of Thieves was captured in a failed attempt to kill the Hylian King and usurp the throne. As punishment, he was ordered to be executed by the Ancient Sage spirits, but as this order was carried out, through some divine jest, the evil Gerudo was gifted with the Goddesses’ power and revived.
Breaking free of his restraints, the dark lord drew the weapon of his demise from his chest, his vile laugh filling the air as he prepared to kill his executioners. However, this short moment of reprieve was the King’s downfall, as the Sages managed to open a portal to another world behind him. The void the portal created began to pull at him, slowly drawing him towards its depths, proving beyond even the Goddesses’ power to prevent.
The last act of the King of Evil before he disappeared from time was to launch the Sage’s Sword into the portal’s originator, piercing the very center of the Mirror of Twilight, but this proved to be worthless, as the damage was merely superficial, and the blade was quickly pulled into the void with its new owner…
The world has since lived in peace, battles and wars are small and short, fights becoming a mere training exercise of caution. People remain alert, prepared, but relaxed and comfortable.

Forks, Washington has always been a place where things have been simple. Recently, with the influx of vampires, people have failed to notice those that have gone missing. The werewolves can't hurt the Cullen clan. They've not broken their contract, they've not hurt a soul. But it's open season on vampires. With everyone in a whirlwind of vampiric chaos and death tolls in Forks rising, the Volturi still haven't shown their faces to stop the madness.

Following a trio in Italy, the Volturi are winded and tired. Their bodies go forever, but their minds, caused by blackness in their tracking and the inability to see the ones being tracked, are growing weary, ready to return home. That is when a sense comes. the smell of a creature closer. He's bleeding, wounded. He's what they're hunting. The fourth to the group, making it a trio that's on the loose, rather than four. His words lead them all to Forks, where the Volturi come armed, ready to kill.

The Volturi have their eyes on the main prize that exists in the Cullen family; namely, Edward Cullen. With Edward's unique ability for mind reading, the Volturi have their sights set on him. They percieve him to be one of the weakest links in the Cullen family and are looking to exploit any weaknesses he may possess.

Knowing that Edward has not yet taken a vampire mate, the Volturi send one of their own ranks, a woman capable of blocking any mental abilities another supernatural being can use against her. There are covens of vampires all over the country, each coven looking to take a city for themselves. The larger the city, the better, this means there's always more to feed on during one night. You can bet, even if you don't see them, that there are vampires living near you in the city.
But Philadelphia, there's a whole new story. Sure there are covens of vampires everywhere, but in Philadelphia not only is there one coven of Vampires, but there are two more as well, fighting over which coven will be the lucky winner of the city of brotherly love.
The first two covens, the Bakers and the Alexanders have been fighting for the city for years. Unknown to all of the humans that lived in Philadelphia. The humans had no idea that they were in so much danger during the hours of the nights.
But danger was exactly why the third coven moved in. Some vampires decided that they would back away from drinking human blood, and only feed on the blood of animals. And that was exactly the ways of the Anderson coven. They came to Philadelphia to stop the other two covens from killing off the humans, who had done nothing to them as far as they knew.
And so, war broke out between the three covens, the Bakers and the Alexanders fighting to become the owners of Philadelphia, and the Andersons fighting to keep the humans of Philadelphia safe.
But it's not just the humans that have to be kept safe, but the covens' secrets as well. As the two human-blood-sucking covens feed at night, more and more peoplehumans are found dead, and more and more humans are begining to notice.
Especially one girl, Roxanne Day. At school, she has met an undercover vampire by the name of Brayden Anderson. He has gone undercover at the local high school to make sure all the humans were safe. But was it a good idea for him?
Absolutly not. He found himself falling for Roxanne Day, who in the end learned of his deadly secret, and wants nothing more than to save her city and fight along side the boy that she loves - even if it means going to school to make sure no other coven's members are found around the humans.
And at night, when most of the humans are asleep, the fights continue, almost unnoticed... but not quite.
As the three covens continue to exist in Philadelphia, the more the humans begin to notice, and they're trying to find out what's going on. Now that the vampires' secret is so close to getting out, they must do anything to protect themselves, and the humans.
Which could involve a visit from the Volturi... and nobody wants to see the Volturi.
What is going to happen? And which coven has what it takes to take over Philadelphia?
